Before you ask
The questions every contractor asks
Answered before the call, so the call can be about your projects.
Our sites have no signal. Does the app just fail?
No. The field app writes to its own database on the phone first, so a log is saved whether or not there is a network. Entries queue with a visible pending count and post in one batched, de-duplicated sync when the device is back in coverage — sending the same entry twice cannot create a second payroll record.
We already have an accounting system. Do we have to replace it?
No. SiteSync exports a general-ledger journal in the format your accountant already imports — Tally Prime XML, Zoho Books journal CSV or QuickBooks IIF — for any date range. There is also a REST API with scoped keys and webhooks if you would rather push the data yourself.
Where does our labour and visa data actually sit?
Wherever you decide. Each SiteSync install serves exactly one company — yours — and can run on-premise or in your own private cloud. The database is standard PostgreSQL, so your records stay queryable and portable, with nightly compressed backups you can restore with a single command.
We are not in the UAE. Does the payroll still work?
Yes. Currency, working week, working days per month, overtime multipliers, the WPS basic-pay band, pension rates and the gratuity formula are all settings, not code. A Saudi contractor switches to a Sunday–Thursday week, SAR and GOSI rates; a free-zone entity outside WPS turns the WPS check off entirely.
How long before we are actually live?
Three steps, none of them a programme. A scoped demo runs on your own project list and headcount plan, not a generic sandbox. Workers, projects and assignments then import by CSV against the same tables the app uses. Finally a first-run wizard sets currency, working week, overtime, WPS band and gratuity, and you switch on only the modules you want today. This is configuration, not transformation.
Can the AI assistant change our payroll without us knowing?
It cannot change anything without you. Read access mirrors your own role exactly, and every write is a proposal showing the record, the field and the new value — it stays a proposal until you press Confirm, and the confirmed change lands in the audit log like any other. You can also point the assistant at a model you host yourself, so nothing leaves your network.
